about

In 2007 came the world’s first chiptune albums distributed as NES cartridges. Alex Mauer’s “Vegavox” was the first of its kind… quickly followed by “Color Caves”, a collaboration between Alex Mauer and Phlogiston. 170 hand made copies of “Vegavox” and 100 of “Color Caves” sold. These rarities have not been available in any format since. Now, the two legendary albums are back… and available to the common man as a downloadable compilation.

Vegavox (2007): tracks 01 to 06
Color Caves (2007): tracks 07 to 17
Bonus Material (2012): tracks 18 to 23
